1) Drawing on Converse—
Almost everyone today has designs in the white part of their shoes. It looks cool and is easy and not disruptive to the class.
2) Friendship bracelet making—
Lots of people tie strings to their binders and make friendship bracelets during class. Again, it’s quiet and looks good.
3) Decorating things with gum wrappers and white out—
You can basically decorate anything with gum wrappers; lots of people know how to peel and stick it to everything available. White out is incredibly fun and entertaining, especially when you draw all over your binders and folders.
4) Doing homework for other classes—
Although teachers may not be pleased, it’s a good way to get through classes and get work done at the same time.
5) Clicking pens—
It can get annoying, but it’s a good way to move your hands around and not get restless, which makes the time go by faster.
6) Pretending to use the bathroom—
An old trick—a way to get up and walk around, while not annoying your teachers (unless you go an unusually large number of times)
7) Practicing ‘air’ instruments (like playing piano on the desk)—
Lots of kids play instruments, and most would rather be playing than sitting in class. By pretending to play air instruments, the time goes by faster and it’s [usually] not distracting.
